Young Adults & Adults

Individual & Group Therapy

While teens legally become adults at age 18, it is important to remember that their cognitive development continues well into their late twenties which ultimately affects how they experience the world and respond to various life events. Although It is often an exciting time as young adults gain more and more independence, young adulthood can also be a particularly vulnerable time in a person’s life.

As for adults, studies show that 1 in 5 adults (20%) will experience a mental health disorder and as many as 29% of adults will experience an anxiety disorder during their lifetimes. Unfortunately, far fewer will receive the highly effective treatments that have been developed to treat these individuals.

We offer a range of specialized and clinical one-on-one and group services to individuals aged 18 and older with a deep understanding of some of the issues that young adults and adults may be facing in their lives. For young adults and adults living with anxiety in particular, we utilize evidence-based, state of the art cognitive behavioral therapy that include psychoeducation, coping skills training, and exposure therapy.
