Children & Adolescents
Individual & Group Therapy
While many children and adolescents have good mental health, experiencing a wide range of feelings and emotions, mental health disorders are also very common and research shows they are on the rise, often disrupting daily functioning,
In any given year, 1 in 6 U.S. children aged 2–8 years (17.4%) had a diagnosed mental, behavioral, or developmental disorder and as many as almost 1 in 2 U.S. adolescents aged 13-18 (49.6%) may experience a mental health problem at some point during these years. Research demonstrates that 26% of boys and 38% of girls will experience an anxiety disorder before they turn 18. Although these statistics are alarming, the good news is that there is help with effective and appropriate mental health treatment provided by highly qualified clinicians.
We offer a range of specialized services for children as young as three years of age through late adolescence who are experiencing mental health difficulties. These services, provided both individually and in group settings, are tailored to a child’s developmental stage and incorporate high levels of positive reinforcement to help the child feel motivated to actively participate in the treatment.
