Dr. Monique Reynolds is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience who specializes in treating anxiety and related disorders in children, adolescents and adults. She earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed a fellowship in school-based mental health treatment and assessment with the University of Maryland Center for School Mental Health. Her expertise includes pediatric and adult OCD, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, specific phobia, the intersection of anxiety and neurodiversity, and parenting training and support. Additionally, Dr. Reynolds serves as an adjunct professor in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology at George Mason University.

Dr. Reynolds has extensive training and experience in the “alphabet soup” of modern evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and various parent training methods (PMT and SPACE). Her therapeutic style is collaborative and person-centered, adapting these research-based methods to meet the specific needs of each client and their family. Dr. Reynolds brings a combination of curiosity, cultural humility, and a sense of humor to her practice, ensuring a supportive and individualized experience for every client.
When not at work, Dr. Reynolds can be found walking her very energetic dog, Emmy, and navigating family life with four teenagers. She is a Navy spouse, a native New Yorker, and an avid coffee drinker who loves a good book on a rainy day.
