Frequently Asked Questions

Health, mental health, and well-being are lifelong journeys in which we all – children, teens, and adults – participate throughout our lives. Mental health, specifically, is the overall state of our emotions, feelings, thoughts, and mood and our ability to face the stresses and life’s challenges that impact our well-being. We struggle with mental health disorders when it becomes difficult for us to face life’s challenges in healthy and productive ways and certain thoughts and behaviors begin to interfere with daily functioning.

There are three ways to reach out to us if you are interested in exploring services with CABC:

  1. Call our Intake Coordinator at 301-610-7850 and leave a message in mailbox #10.
  2. Send an email to Intake-Coordiator@changeanxiety.com (please leave the best phone number by which you can be reached).
  3. Fill out our Online Form which can be found on our Contact Us page.

Our Intake Coordinator will call you back as soon as possible to do a phone screen, discuss treatment options, and help determine if our center can provide the services you require.

All treatments are delivered in a safe, collaborative environment and in the context of a compassionate, empathetic relationship that is built over time between the client and therapist. Some therapy is provided on a more short-term basis while other clients benefit from longer-term treatment with their therapist, something that is discussed during the first few sessions. Therapy can be provided in-person, virtually, or using a hybrid model, depending on client preferences.

We do not currently participate with any insurance plans but we provide detailed bills that clients can submit for reimbursement from their insurance companies for out-of-network services.
